Our Journey and Mission
We at Heart of Gold have been breeding Golden Retrievers for over 26 years and Border Collies for nearly a decade. Our mission is to cultivate dogs with exceptional health, longevity, and temperament, ideal for service and therapy work. But also great for competitive Dog Sports. Based in East Gwillumbury, our family-run Good as Gold K9 School is renowned for excellence in dog agility and obedience training. We proudly introduce the Border Retriever, a unique blend of Golden Retriever and Border Collie, perfect for active lifestyles and competitive sports. We breed all of our dog’s in accordance to Canada’s Animal Pedigree Act – in regards to keeping records and offering certificates for an evolving or developing breed.
